Chit Chat Thread for the week of June 2nd 2008

This is the place to talk about things that are not gps related, you can discuss whatever you would like, as long as it is clean. Remember we have families that have their children involved in the GPS fun and we don't want to make parents feel uncomfortable when their children ask what that word means.

Have fun...

This thread will be closed on Monday and a new one will be opened.

Smart Car MPG's

Saw a smart car on 30 West in Lancaster PA driving along side full size tractor trailers...I was scared for the guy...but I guess it gets great gas mileage confused

Surprisingly, the Smart Car does NOT have very impressive (for it's size) MPG ratings ... the manufacturer’s rating is 33 mpg city and 41 mpg highway.

For that ... there is no way you'd get me in that little thing!

I find it amazing how weather affects different people in so many ways. The South is in it's worst drought with the Midwest twisting and turning from big thick tornado's, and the heavens opening with flood prone rains.
The fires burning in Florida along with California and Colorado. The bad weather is not just here in the USA, watch the news and see it happening Worldwide.

Hopefully this isn't a revelation of things to come.

Floods are not new to Iowa, Seems like it floods every year, I am aware of a minor league baseball team leaving Davenport because their stadium was always flooding.

I will pray for your relatives, and hope the water subsides.
