Internal mem vs. SD card

Hello all,

Is there any access speed difference re: POI's if loading from device memory or an SD card? Other than saving internal drive space, are there any advantages?

No difference

When working with fairly modest size files, largest being WalMart, I see no difference.

I have heard that they need to be removed when doing firmware/software upgrades as the process needs all the memory it can get.......and a blank SD card too.
