Can Nuvis play FLAC files or only MP3s.

I have some recordings of classical music in the lostless FLAC file format. Supposedly it loses no sound quality due to compression.
I was about to convert them to MP3 but then wondered if its possible that someone has found a way to have the Nuvi support FLAC.
It appears that the Nuvi 8x0s will support FLAC right out of the box.
MP3 is it
And Whatever format the supported audiobooks come in.

That would be great! Having to convert FLACs to MP3 is so-o defeating the purpose. Probably better off converting to WAV and burning an audio disc. May not be as portable, but the sound quality would probably be better.
