cvs. files, bmp icon, alert sound

I have a cvs file called Advance Auto Parts plus the icon and alert in my poi folder. When I load the folder into my nuvi 350 I cannot find it in my custom POI's. What determines the poi's that show on the menu ?????
Make sure the poi, icon &
Make sure the poi, icon & alert files have the same filename: poifile.csv (poi), poifile.bmp (icon) & poifile.mp3 (alert). The 3 files should be in the same folder. Point poi loader to the folder. It will tell you the number of poi it loaded.
You have to zoom to ~300ft to see the poi icons.
You can also try without the icon & alert, to make sure that you have a good poi file.

And don't forget that your GPSr will only show the 50 CLOSEST custom POIs to the location your GPSr is presently at.

I'm guessing you just made a couple typos in your post, but if you really have a cvs extension, that won't work. They are csv files.
If you are using sub-folders on your computer and have the file in a folder called Auto Parts (or something similar), you can get to the files quicker because you won't have to scroll past many other pages of non-auto-parts locations.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

I did do a typo....there is a cvs drug store on every corner around here....

You have to use POI Loader. You can't just move the folder containing the files onto your gps. Not sure if that's what happened or not.
