does the red light camera on your gps alert you when you get how close to a red light camera intersection and does it audio beep or warn how far in advance?

Yes the red light camera when loaded with Garmin POI loader will ask you to set the distance before you reach a red light- I choose 500ft. Not sure about the beep- Just noticed that the Name bar on top Turns RED and Blinks 350 nuvi. Im sure someone can help you set up a beep or tone.

The word "redlight" in the POI filename creates a proximity alert of 0.25 miles on the GPS unit automatically. You will get an audio and a visual alert on the unit if the alerts are active on the unit.
