Adding phone number to favorites?

We have several Nuvi's. Is there anyway to add a phone number to the favorites? I would think it would be an easy thing to do to edit the file(s) but we couldn't see how. Anyone know the secret?

Not sure what unit you have, but on my Nuvi750 all I have to do is go to WHERE TO >> FAVORITES and pick a favorite the select EDIT >> CHANGE PHONE NUMBER.

It's a 350 but only shows
It's a 350 but only shows name, symbol and delete as options. Was wondering if we could add them manually.
Favorites or POIs?
Favorites have a phone number which (on my nüvi 750) is changed with the "Change Phone Number" after selecting "Edit..." when the favorite is displayed.
Since you say "edit the file(s)", you can add a 4th column to the .csv file holding your POI data. This is a good place for the address and phone number.

Yeah, you can't add a phone number to Favorites on a nuvi 350.

I have a nuvi 350 and you can add a phone number as part of the address. I do it using my mapsource. Once I received my waypoint from my nuvi. I edit the desc them and load it back to the nuvi.
There is another way. If you know how to edit a gpx. After you received the waypoint from you nuvi save it as gpx. USe any text editor. Below is a sample of how you can add the phone number.

What about just putting your favorites into a gpx file. Many units will load the contents of a gpx file directly into favorites if the file is placed directly on the drive. How does the 350 handle gpx files?
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
Work-around for phone#'s on Nuvi 350 Favorites
Since the 350 doesn't support Bluetooth dialing, I'm guessing that is why it does not allow editing phone numbers later. Mapsource places the address information in the "comment" field on the 350 and you can add other text after the address as you wish, including a phone number. This will all show on the 350 screen when you select it. I do this all the time.
