Hello- A few questions, before I delete "important" files. Can I delete all POI.GPI files? I think the .GPI files are ones that I download. Is this true? Also, can you rename a .GPI file to "Match" your Points of interest. FOr example, National Parks download as POI.GPI, can I rename it to Nationalparks.GPI? I'm trying to create some sort of organization with my files. This is all new to me and after looking at some of the posts, I'd really hate to delete important files.
Thanks
POI files
yes, poi.gpi file is created by POI Loader and you can rename it to whatever.gpi

See the FAQ "How do I keep from overwriting previous loaded POI's?" at http://www.poi-factory.com/node/8779
I do this all the time ... makes for a much easier way of updating the POIs, don't have to replace all POIs to update one.

650 Hard Drive
I went to the link and I wasn't sure of the last sentence. "This method requires a GPS unit that shows as a hard drive on the computer." I have a 650 and it comes up on my E: drive. I'm not sure if it's recognized as a hard drive or not, but I think so.

That's it.

That's what it means; you're good to go.
