Nuvi 360 Bad Basemap

I was snooping around on another site and they were talking about bad basemaps.Especially ones from Costco, (Nuvi 360) which is were mine came from. I searched for cities... Queens, NY and Van Nuys, CA. They can't be found. Is anyone aware of this problem. Supposedly Garmin will send a file with the new Basemap which fixes the problem.

According to the posts on gpspassion.com the "bad" base maps were about 3.1MB files while the functional base maps have been to be 5 or 6 MB files. My original base map on Nuvi 350 is 5.16 MB (5,414,912 bytes).
If you have a 3.1M base map I would contact Garmin.

uber360... does Queens NY and Van Nuys, CA show up on your nuvi 360. I did find a world base map that I put on and now they are on mine. Keeping the orginal just incase problems.

Bad Basemap ?
After my 4th phone call and getting a computer tech I have the missing city problem taken care of. The Basemap on my 360 was NR 2.00. He downloaded Lite Basemap Ver 4.00 and now the missing cities can be found. When you turn on your 360 watch the screen as it loads map. If you have NR 2.00 I would guess that you can't find Van Nuys, Queens, Brooklyn, Chatsworth.
The tech said he would notify his supervisor of the apparent problem.
