Flying Cross Country

I often fly cross country, Syracuse to San Diego When I
look out,I never know where we are. Is there a portable GPS that I could bring along and that would locate me on a map. I always thought it would be fun to know what we are looking at when we fly at 25000 feet.

"any" mapping GPS can do

"any" mapping GPS can do what you're looking for, but some may work better than others. Also, use of these devices is not allowed on all airlines.
