Newbie on uploading and modifying POI files

I recently signed up for POI factory and have imported several categories to my nuvi 750. One of the biggest problems I found with this is that many locations don't show up or show up wrong. I am still studying all of the FAQ's and methodology of uploading locations as well as making corrections to locations that no longer apply. I don't just do anything on my own, so I will be in contact with someone when I try to fix some obvious problems.
Example 1: New shopping center with many stores like Target, Dick's Sporting goods, Bed and Bath, Best Buy, Kohl's and a New Walmart.
Example 2: The new Walmart is a replacement (2nd SuperCenter) for an old Walmart that is now a Home Depot. Do you just change the name of the old Walmart to Home Depot?
This probably isn't the place to post this, but I get a DATA FORMAT ERROR on each of the Low Clearance Federal Truck Routes (either line 10 or 11 in each) and one in the Golden Corral (line 112). I don't see anything wrong with the files, but will try to reverse the coordinates and see how that works.
I am leaving tomorrow (24 March 08) for a three (or four) week trip to Dallas, TX, but will have my Notebook along and will check in every now and then. Need to learn more about this and become an active member.

Maybe the loader/Nuvi does
Maybe the loader/Nuvi does not like the """ marks?
Try changing ' to FT. and " to Inches (line 13).
From: "7' 6""" To: "7 Ft. 6 Inches"
Garmin Nüvi 650, 255WT
Could you .....

Could you give me the exact file names/locations you're having trouble with? I'd take a look.

Data Error
CLEAR124.ZIP, CLEAR126.ZIP, CLEAR129.ZIP, CLEAR132.ZIP all with data format errors on either line 10 or 11.
Also WMNP.CSV line 12 and GoldenCorral.csv line 112.
I will check out the other suggestion of feet and inches.
At any rate, I sincerely thank all that responded. Looking forward to additional help and/or being able to help others.

Different website
CLEAR124.ZIP, CLEAR126.ZIP, CLEAR129.ZIP, CLEAR132.ZIP all with data format errors on either line 10 or 11.
Also WMNP.CSV line 12 and GoldenCorral.csv line 112.
Are these files downloaded from another website that begins with the letter D? (POI Factory FAQ: "Don't discourage people from supporting POI Factory by linking to tools or data that are similar to those available from POI Factory.")
If this is where they came from, the zip files are text files which have the longitude and latitude reversed for Garmin POIs. If these are the ones you're working on, send me an email at my contact email and I'll help you with them. Just click on my user ID name and it will take you to a page with my contact tab.
