Problem with file

Hi Folks,

I can get this file to display on my Nuvi 660.

http://www.poi-factory.com/node/7414

There's only one entry that displays when I look at the file on the Nuvi even though there are NUMEROUS entires in the file. Any ideas on this?

Thanks!

.

It looks like the file isn't formatted properly. It's got linebreak/carriage return errors all through it.

Is there any way we can fix

Is there any way we can fix it? It looks like it has some pretty good entires in it and I'd hate to crap can it. It's on this site and if it can't be fixed maybe we should pull it so that others don't have the same problems with it?!

Any file can be fixed but it

Any file can be fixed but it should be reported to the person who submitted the file. You can do that through the contact form to Miss POI.

Report directly to the creater.

Don't bother Miss POI with it. Simple go to that node then it will say who created it which is a clickable link. Click on it, then when you get to that person's profile, use the Contact tab to send them a note.

If you particularly need a working copy of the file (csv, or gpx with dialable numbers), email me via my "Contact" tab and I'll send you one.

(GeePeeEx Editor read the file ok...)

I was in the process of sucessfully testing it with the trial version of GeePeeEx Editor (first 5 entries) and when I got back to report, you had already offered to assist. What a neat program.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

I contacted the author

I contacted the author myself via the contact tab so, they should know. No use both of us contacting them.
