Funny Red light Camera Pics

I just thought I would post this as I find it humorous.

I worked for a Global Company in Ontario Canada back in the early 90's.

My manager who was at a fairly high level went to Germany with some other managers and a VP who was known for his temper.

Upon return from the trip to Germany one of the Senior Managers got a package in the mail about a month later. It was a ticket for running a red light at intersection in Frankfurt.

Attached was a page with photos of the incident. One picture was taken from the front so you could clearly see the occupants. So there was the manager in the drivers seat of the Mercedes and the VP in the passengers seat.

The funny thing was the VP was clearly sitting forward in the seat and yelling at the manager and pointing in the direction of the turn that they were making as the camera went off.

The picture circulated around the company for a bit with people commenting that it the manager should try and get the VP to pay for the ticket as he was clearly an influincing factor if not the cause of the ticket.

I unfortunately do not have the picture to post but thought some would like to hear the story.

funny red light cameras

They have had the red light cameras in germany for over 30 years. They take a pretty good quality pic. I I saw some of the pics back in 1975.

Funny Redlight Pics

That is humorous. It's interesting that they had pictures of the occupants of the car. My understanding is that the cameras locally only photograph the rear to capture the tag.

Funny Red Light Pics

My father in law just got a ticket for going through a red light and filled out a statement swearing blind that the light was amber.

You have the opportunity to view the pictures online in San Diego and when we did, the light was sooo red! Not only that but there was video also and he went through it like a bat out of hell!

bye, bye $401!

In Arizona, two, three or more images can be taken when the camera is triggered: One from the front, to identify who was driving the vehicle, one from the rear, to get the license plate (only rear plates are required in AZ) and one from the side, to ensure the vehicle had crossed reference lines, or more if the speed also needs to be determined.

Krieger.

Many many angles

The last red light ticket I saw here in Georgia (from a relative) had several angles it seemed. We could tell where the car was precisely and the color of the light. Another angle clearly showed the driver's profile (depending on the vehicle and the pilar location, some drivers can be seen clearly down to the shirt color/type). We could even tell how many people were in the vehicle (like mentioned in the original post). I believe the speed of the vehicle may have been posted on the ticket, but maybe not.

Too funny!!!

Thanks for the story!
