Add or Change Icons in Magellan

I saw a discussion on icons with Garmin units, but I couldn't find one for how or if this could be done on a Magellan. Can someone point me to where I would find this information? I have a 3225.

That's because you can't do it with a Magellan (without some serious hacking, that is).

O.k. I suspected as much, but needed some confirmation from someone who would actually know. No big deal for me, just a curiosity since I saw all the icons that were available on this an other sites.

Adding POI to 4250

Can a poi be loaded into unit without a sd card? If so, how is it done?

Run the POI Editor provided on the CD. The only place is WILL load is the main memory. To get the POI files on an SD card, you have to do it with an external card reader/writer on the computer.

Earlier models would load directly to the SD card if you wanted but the 4250 does not have that option.
