Garmin Communicator Plugin

Some sites are using this already. It allows you to click on a web map point and it will download the coordinates directly to your Garmin. One such site that uses this is Garmin's Geocaching site:

The web pages have a button to "Send to GPS".

Does google earth or google maps work with this plug-in?

Would you expect retail web sites to add this feature to allow GPS download of their store locations?

There is a nify site called TakItWithMe ... http://www.takitwithme.com/
that uses this plug in and will take your Google Maps you create and download the points directly to many Garmin devices.

I use Google Maps to manage my Favorites list by storing my favorites there. When I update the Map, I use http://www.takitwithme.com/ to move those Favorites onto my Garmin 200. Works great.
