No, most ppl haven't been to
No, most ppl haven't been to the places that they create the POIs from, although I am sure that they have been to many of them.
Most make POIs from addresses and then use any one of the multitudes of converters to get the coordinates.

I made a POI of rest stops
I made a POI of rest stops between richmond and durham by marking the coordinates on the screen and then later when I got home, I would make a POI file from the favorite gpx file.

Hey Charlie, could you send me that Rest Area file you have via e-mail attachment (if it's a stand alone file) so I can double check that I have them in the Rest Areas Combined file !

Can one create a POI with longitude & latitude ie (without having been there or using an address) ?
