support C330 vs Nuvi

With my C330 I just had to install my GPS on the support and no wire to plug in, with the Nuvi I have to plug in the wire and then install it in the support every time I go in the car. Why did garmin did not keep a simular support like the C330????

support nuvi vs c330

I have both and understand your question. What I've done is leave the power source plugged into the support at all times. It's a little awkward but it saves time and wear and tear on the plug and outlet.

That didn't...

That didn't really answer his question. He was wondering why the 2xx series Nüvi (among others) doesn't have the power cord plugged into the cradle. And I have no answer for it. I have the 260 and I have to plug it in at the back of the unit each time I use it. Doesn't seem like a big deal to me, but maybe that extra 5 seconds is more important to some people.

Cradle for c330 and nuvi 2xx

Yes this is what I mean, and I find it a big deal, it is not only to plug it but unplug it each time, did not have to do this with the c330 cradle...

Thank you

Yeah, I find it odd how they

Yeah, I find it odd how they have different setups between the models. For instance, the c5xx series, you have to plug the power cord into the unit itself, rather then the cradle. I like my nuvi better in that sense. I don't have to plug and unplug it each time.
