Can Garmin 360 use POI's from the SD card

I have the Garmin 360 and tried loading custom POI's onto a SD card. When I put the sd card into the 360 it does not show up. When I load the same POI's straight into the 360 I can see " custom POI" under .
Before I go crazy I want to know if the 360 can use POI's from an SD card.

Do you get a prompt about if

Do you get a prompt about if you want to move the poi files to the internal memory?

On the sd card, are the pois in .csv format or .gpi? If it is csv, then they aren't really "loaded " on the sd card.

No prompt to move to internal memory. One file is just a bitmap file so that looks like the problem. Even so, that file went right into the 360 and is under "custom pois".
Question: If I get a prompt to move pois to internal memory and I say YES then I might as well just skip the SD card bit. If I say no, does that mean it will prompt me everytime I turn the unit on?.
