Did I not read on some posting here that if you have the Lat. & logitude you can set up a custom POI with ease?
If so, how is this accomplished please

This is on this site somewhere, but here are sites to get coordinates and there are probably others:
* geocoder.us - a site that shows coordinates for US addresses
* geocoder.ca - shows coordinates for addresses in Canada / USA
* gpsvisualizer.com - shows coordinates for a list of addresses
* batchgeocode.com - shows coordinates for a list of addresses
* terraserver.microsoft.com - shows coordinates for addresses and map locations
You can use Google Earth for GPS coordinates, as well. I find that it's pretty good for finding coordinates for intersections within a city. Also, terraserver.microsoft.com is great for that. I use geocoder.us for coordinates of street addresses. I haven't used the other three listed above.
