.

Could you maybe list the errors or send them to the file's author so the file can be corrected?

Are they location errors? I

Are they location errors? I use this file up and down the eastern seaboard and never noticed a problem.

Oh, I'm so many places.

Oh, I'm so many places. There were two in Texas. One I remember in Lufkin, Tx. for sure. It took me down a small main street to nowhere neer the Loves in my big truck. The other did the same thing. Then it just happened again in Louisianna yesterday- it was 5 miles off and I barely got by one of our other drivers to catch the exit. These aren't the only times this file has had errors. But I'm glad to say it is the only file I've had problems with. I'm not trying to cause problems- I absolutely love this site. I just wanted to give a heads up. Please try to understand that I'm in so many places sometimes I can't remember where I dropped a load 5 days ago. But I certainly remember if a file misleads me over and over causing me to waiste time and stress of taking a big truck somewhere I shouldn't be. To be honest I'm not gonna take the time out to correct the errors- I've been at this long enuff I'll find the loves on my own. I'm so busy. Once I do get a chance to learn how to post locations though I'd be glad to share. I only wanted to warn others in case they are driving large vehicles not to be suprised. Mainly I drive in from the eastern border of say Kansas down to Laredo, Tx. to the east and south-east states.

I compared the position of the address listed for this location and the coordinates and they are about 3.5 miles apart.

Thats pretty far off when your talking about across a town and not down a highway, to far off for a gps thats giving you directions no matter where you are. I don't know how you checked that but I sure appreciate it.

I'm not entirely sure

I'm not entirely sure why my Love's POI
file differs from the latest available file
on this site - dtd 11/21 - but it does -
I can't really tell what "version" I downloaded as I have modified some of the info in Col 3 & 4 so my file date is the date I made the changes BUT my coordinates for the Lufkin, TX Loves are located
right at the off ramp entrance on Hwy 59 leading to the Loves location and "appears" to be accurate ???
My coords are -94.693664,31.324541 for the off ramp.

My Friend

I gave my Nuvi 360 to my friend when I bought my Nuvi 660.
He has had trouble with the Texas Love's Truck Stops also.
He called me one night from West Texas and told me he was taken down a residential area, nowhere near the Love's.
He doesn't know much about coordinates, so he was no help for the actual location.

I agree that your coordinates match the address in the POI file, 1003 S Medford Dr. That is also confirmed as being the proper address by Love's website. However, I just discovered the source of what appears to be bad coordinates in the current file. It is none other than the official Love's website:
http://www.loves.com/Default.aspx?tabid=69&ST=VFg%3d-JqWBC%2... and hit the "More Info" button.

I have notified Love's of this particular error and that there might be similar problems with other TX coordinates.

I deleted the file on my system. Thanks for the heads up.

Yes, I agree

The Love's website has erroneous coordinates for the Lufkin TX location ! I had looked it up earlier !
