When someone makes a file here and has POI icons for it, how do I load those as well onto the device and allocate them appropriately?

many threads here outline
many threads here outline this in complete detail, but basically you just need to name the POI file and bitmap file the same base name....like:
PointsOfInterest.csv
PointsOfInterest.bmp
have both files in the same folder, and POILoader will do the rest
nüvi 200

Click on "icons" at the top of the page here, then scroll to the bottom and click where it says "How do I load BMP icons into my Garmin GPSr?"
While scrolling you can be checking out other bmps that may be of interest to you.
........Garmin StreetPilot c550 / Nüvi 765...........
organized
If I create subfiles under a folder named garmin
ie
Garmin
garmin\redlight camera
garmin\redlight camera\icons
garmin\in & out
Will all of the above info transfer correctly into the garmin using the POI loader
in other words is there an anal way of keeping everything straight?
too organized
POI loader will only go one folder deep so both the icon and the file have to be in the same folder.
Another words in the Red Light Camera folder you need to have both the csv and the bmp
Garmin 38 - Magellan Gold - Garmin Yellow eTrex - Nuvi 260 - Nuvi 2460LMT - Google Nexus 7 - Toyota Entune NAV
one folder deep
I did the directory as above and the result was all of the different folders as different groups in the Garmin.
I was going to have to check if the bmp and alarms came out correctly when on the road, however I had moved the icons and mp files to the same folder as the red light files. So I will not be able to test accurately
