POI's Don't Show Up

My poi's don't show up on my Zumo 550 when in 3D mode. It don't matter what zoom level you are at. Anyone else have this problem?

Pretty sure the Nuvi 200
Pretty sure the Nuvi 200 doesn't either....but it seems as though I've seen them before, but I'm not sure what it takes to see them with regularity

Tap on map just to view map (not navigating to a POI) magnification 300 or less and you will see them.
For some reason when going to a POI the rest of the icons on route disappear.

Custom POIs or built-in POIs?
Built in POIs on the Zumo don't show up until you are zoomed in to at least 300 feet in 2D mode. I'm pretty sure that they won't show up at all in 3D mode. However, if you updated your firmware to 3.8 or 3.9, there currently is a bug in the firmware that prevents the built-in POIs from showing up on the map screen unless you are browsing the map.
Custom POI icons should show up in 2D mode when you are zoomed to 0.3 miles or closer. And they should show up on the 3D screen at the same relative zoom level.
