MP3 player on NUVI 350

Hi all,

How many mp3 songs can you play on your NUVI 350? I have downloaded 59 MP3 songs to my NUVI350,but I could play 37 songs only .I don't know why? Thanks.

.

Are you sure that they are all MP3 files? The GPS unit won't play other file formats.

Also, when you connect your GPS unit to your computer, can you see the song files on the unit. (ie, are they actually there?)

Yes Mama,they are all MP3

Yes Mama, they are all MP3 files and I can play all on my computer when I connected my GPS to my computer.

.

Ok, great that they all show on your computer, but (at the risk of offending you), are you 100% sure that they are MP3 files? Your computer software likely plays many different formats including WMA which aren't compatible with the GPS unit.

If they are MP3s, then I would ask how you are accessing them on your GPS unit. Are you selecting Browse > All > Play All? Then does the track count 1/x not equal the number of songs you think should be there?

Or are you perhaps selecting Album, Artist, or Genre?

Thanks Mama.Yes,I select

Thanks Mama.Yes,I select Browse>all>play all then the track count 1/x didn't equal the number of songs on my GPS unit.I don't know why?

Mp3's

Are you loading them on an SD card?

.

The only other thing I can think of is to reload the songs.

The only time I've ever hear of all the songs no showing up is when they weren't actually MP3s. So, I'm stumped.

Space issue?

If loading directly to the GPSr vs an SD card, space could be an issue. Beyond that, everything else has been addressed...so I too am stumped.

Yes,but

"Are you loading them on an SD card?"
_Yes, I tried this also, but the problem is the same.I can't play all songs on my GPS unit.

Maybe space issue?

Thanks.I have tried loading them both on an SD card and onto MP3 folder of my GPS unit. But the problem is the same.

I've used a 4gig SD card with over 600 titles in a Nuvi 350, 660, and 750 with no issues as well as loading the available free space on the units themselves at times with hundreds of titles. The only issues I've had were with iTunes & Windows media native format media files that I copied in error...those the computer would see, but the Nuvis of course did not.

It might be the sub folder

It might be the sub folder caused this problem. See discussion below:

SD Card HC?

Since you have a 4GB card, I am assuming it must be a SD HC? I have heard that Garmin has trouble running SD HC cards and you need to stick to SD only. Garmin 350 is based on the old SD format.
