Finally, I have figured out how to mass import POI files into my AVIC-S2 device.
The Pioneer AVIC-S2 shares the same navigation software with Mio, known as iGO MY WAY, which backs up its POI files into the SD Card as IGO_backup.db file. I can open this file with iGO POI EXPLORER and see the details. The iGO POI EXPLORER can also convert any other POI format from Tom Tom, Garmin, etc., into db format which then can be loaded back into my AVIC-S2.
The new POI files runs flawlessly on my device.
