Nuvi 660 Lag

I have nuvi 750 and have the same problem. I only have red light and camera poi loaded in my external sd card.

I have a new 660 that I've only used on several short trips. I've loaded 65000 poi's from this site. The only lag I see on my unit is a slight difference when passing an intersection or cross road. My position is slightly behind (signal lag?).It's barely significant on my unit. I can't guess what is wrong with your unit but i'm sure this is not normal. Sorry I can't offer any help.

I run a 660 with the red light and speed camera poi's loaded in the Nuvi memory. I see no sign of lag at all.

I took off all POI's and now I have no lag what so ever. I am going to try it again with the POI's and see if the lag comes back.

I have never used this but you may want to run poiverifier before you load them back on to see if there are any syntax issues on your poi files - http://poiverifier.com/

Thanks lerch. I will give that a try. I did however remove all poi's for a couple of days and the gps worked great. Loaded them all back on and now I don't notice a lag. I will still take your advice just in case.

I have experienced the same as gusb with 80,000+ poi's. Not enough lag to be bothersome.

What's the registration #?
