You got a great unit. Maybe

You got a great unit. Maybe add the red light and speed camera alerts to it. While we don't have the speed cameras where I live, the red light alerts have worked fantastic.

Tips

You can get to the diagnostic screen 2 ways.
1. With the power off hold your finger in the top left corner of the screen and turn the Nuvi 660 on. Keep you finger pressed on the screen until you are asked if you really want to enter maintenance mode.

2. If the Nuvi is a;ready on press and hold the moving average speed (about the center of the screen). The diagnostic screen will come one after a few seconds.

There are more diagnostic screens. At them maine page, press and hold (ca 6 seconds) the top right corner at the battery indicator.

List of symbols

Thanks. Great site. Never thought of using GPS (in off-road mode) to find my car in a giant parking lot. Shucks, I can forget where I parked it at the grocery.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
