POI list cross reference of existing POI’s in a unit

I often browse though the list of POI’s I see in this and other sites and feel compelled to download ones I’m interested in but don’t (At least not large numbers of files). The reason is that I don’t want to load POI’s that may all ready be in the unit’s data base. Although some are intuitive, like the great law enforcement cameras POI files, not to be in the unit, others are not. I find it would be a bit involved to look at each and every category on the list and try to search a matching POIs in the unit. Not difficult but time consuming. Would it be of any value to add a note to the POI files on the list are all ready in specific units/maps? Something like asian_restaurants_in_USA.csv note: POIs available in City Navigator NT 2008 maps, XYZ series Garmin units, ABC Magellan units, etc... It wouldn’t be perfect but it would evolve as people found corrections. It would also be a quick reference to keep from loading POIs you all ready have. Thoughts?
