POIs not viewable on nuvi 360

I have successfuly been able to load POIs onto my nuvi 360, but am unable to see them when I choose to "View Map". I was expecting to see them show up on the map, instead of having to sort through a list of them under "Where to?". The point will show up after you choose it from there.

Should I be able to see them when just viewing the current map view? Is there a setting I am missing to make them show up?

Thanks for you help?

.

You need to zoom in further.

Thanks. Zooming in that far

Thanks. Zooming in that far is not that useful really when driving around. Maybe they change things in the future.

I was looking at this feature too

Most of the time if you are a newbie. We ask features that you think you will use but when you have used it for awhile. The features you are looking for you would never used it.

As far as showing your POI on the map I think the reason the manufacturer never do it because of refresh issue with map while you are on route. Your GPS have a preloaded POI and your custom POI. If the map will load all POI with that small screen you may end up no seeing the road and your screen will be filled by POI's

...it would tend to make the unit lag more than it does now. One of the commonest complaints is that the intersection passes before the vehicle icon gets there, and the more data the unit is trying to display, the more time the screen takes to refresh, and the more lag you end up with. This isn't a 4ghz processor, so there has to be a tradeoff.

Seeing POIs all the time

Seeing POIs all the time would clutter up the screen imo
