How to import POI files

I am not clear how to load individual POI files to my N650. I loaded one test POI file via a SD card - no problem. Then I tried again with two other files on a new SD card and it overwrote the existing POI file on my 650, replacing it with the 2 new files. The POI Loader seems to take ALL the POI files you have on your designated folder and loads them all, overwriting whatever you already have on the unit -- is that correct? If so, then is the answer to maintain a POI master fileon your PC, adding to it as necessary and when you are ready re load the entire folder including the old and the new???

Any advice on this would be appreciated.

For the most part, yes. It's easier to just load all of them each time. Each time you run POI Loader, it takes all the files you are loading and creates a file named POI.GPI on the destination you choose overwriting the previous POI.GPI file.

Many people have had success renaming this file (for example to redlight.poi) so that it won't be overwritten the next time POI Loader is run. The unit will read multiple .GPI files at the same time.

Well I would suggest you

Well I would suggest you read and read no one minds helping as long as one helps themselves by reading, here's a hint, try putting all your custom poi's in one directory point poiloader to that directory and it will create one file with all your custom pois in it
