Modifying an CSV file

OK so I am getting inspired by the site and the ability to add and modify the Excel CSV files. So, I opened my "Hooters" file to add a Hooters that I notiecd missing. I went to Google Earth changed the parameters so I could see the Lon/Lat values and added them along with the text that I felt mimicked what was already there. It failed miserably. Came up with some kind of error on line 8. So what did I do wrong? I added the values and text. Am I not saving the file properly? Do I need to do some sort of conversion? Help me if you can with the limited information....?

Sort of hard to guess without seeing the file. If you want to send the file over I'll have a look at it. Send me an email via my contact link and I'll give you an email address that accepts attachments. Or you can check it with POI Verifier.

ohhh. Thanks for that csv link. I put together my first custom POI list today. Now to only come up with some interesting stuff!

Hey RT,
I think using Excel was my problem. I opened it up with notepad and made my mods and life is good! For some reason Excel was hosing me up...imagine that....Microsoft doing that to a poor fella like me. Thank you for the offer though, I am glad I was able to do it with some help.
