Where did the icon go????????

I recently purchased a new lap top, downloaded the POI loader which was good, but for what ever reason the POI icon did not appear on the desk top, like it did on the PC. Being some what new at garmin and computers could some one let me know where the icon went or how to creat a short cut for the desktop. Thanks for the help. RVN4US
POI icon did not appear on the desk top
Go on your computer and click on start then programs,find garmin then poi loader and right click on the mouse and scroll to send to then send to desk top(create short cut) and click on it.You can create any short cut like this.
