Nuvi files

I have a Nuvi 660 and just bought a 650.

I'd like to copy some things from the old unit the new one.

Does anyone know the files that I need to copy from the 660 to the new unit to get my:
Home
Favorites
Recently Found
POIs

thanks

I think I know...

1) Doesn't take long to mark your home, no near to "transfer" over to new unit.
2) I think that you can just copy of the favorites gpx file and when the 650 boots up, it scans for all gpx files and load them into the favorites

3) Not sure about those. But what you could do is save each one that you want to favorites and when you copy them over, the recently found will be there

4) Again, haven't tried, but can you just copy the POI files over to the new unit? Anyways, don't you have them saved somewhere in the csv form and just reload them?

The current.gpx file on your nuvi is an output file of your Favorites. You might be able to copy it from one unit to the other. But a better way might be to download you Favorites from your nuvi to EasyGPS or MapSource and then load them to the new unit.

The Home location probably can't be transferred.

The Recently Found locations definitely can't be transferred.

Custom POIs as asianfire has mentioned, you could just reload them from your computer. But if you copy the POI.GPI file from your nuvi to your new unit, that will load them as well.

Home

On the nuvi 350, the 'HOME' location is included in the 'current.gpx' file.

Cool. I know that it's in the Favorites, but I wasn't sure if it would restore it in the "Home" function on the unit.

When copying a backup copy of 'current.gpx' to the nuvi 350, 'Home' restores along with the other Favorites.
