Hello All,
This may have been discussed before but I can't find it. I've got a new Nuvi200w and was wondering how/if I can download a track file to overlay on a map.
I'm impressed with the unit so far. Thoroughly UN-impressed with the lack of documentation from Garmin and having to figure out how the darned thing works on my own. Lucky for me I'm a dork enough to try.
Thanks for the help!

If you mean: download a track from the Nüvi, to overlay on an external map, then
See this thread: http://www.poi-factory.com/node/6868
The feature was undocumented and apparently has been removed again in the latest firmware.
(Not owning a 2xx myself, I'm not sure which firmware versions work and which don't.)
If, however, you've got a track file from elsewhere, that you want to display on the Nüvi, you'd have to make a transparent map from it and download that to the Nüvi.

Gone from the 2xx, not sure about the 2xxW
The tracking feature was definintely removed from the non-wide 2xx firmware. Not sure about the 2xxw.

Excellent info...
Thanks! I'll try it tomorrow and see how it goes.
I tried on my 200w
and it didn't work...it seems to be running an entirely different firmware version.
Any other ideas?
