c330- Will receiving the updated map also update POI's?

I just bought the Garmin c330 on Black Friday and am not surprised that the map is out of date. After reading some other posts on here it seems it may be possible to get a free update from Garmin if I am persistent enough. Question is, will this update POI's as well? I am dissapointed more than anything in how old the POI's are. I was in San Antonio, TX recently and couldn't even find some Sam's Clubs that I know have been around for years. What to do? Also, does anyone know if the Nuvi 260 has a more updated map?
ETA: What is the difference in buying the update (79.99 I believe) and in updating online?
Map Update
Since you bought the unit so recently, there should be no problem getting the update for free, and yes the POIs will also be updated. However to have the best POI selection on your unit get your POIs from this site.
Getting POI's from this site
Wouldn't getting them from this site only take up space necessary for a map update?
Space
POI files are very small (normally) and take very little space, You can make space on your GPSr by deleting unnecessary files, (Voices, jpegs,foreign language help files, vehicles, mp3s- if your unit has mp3 capability). You shouldn't have to worry about space.

Sorry for the misinformation, I didn't realize that you can't delete files from the c330.
