I uploaded my point of interest, however they are showing as Dots on my Nuvi. Does anyone know why? How can I fix this problem. I uploaded the POI files and made the necessary changes to the Icons and Alerts. I hope I did it right. Can anyone share some light. Thanks.

I used Mapsource to create my Custom POI files, and attached the icons (knife and fork for restaurants, etc.) to each one. They all appear on the Nuvi with the correct icon, even with map detail set to Normal, and with the view zoomed out pretty far. If you open your Favorites file, click on a POI, then "Edit", does the correct icon show in the upper left corner of the screen?

Voices
Usually the unit comes with all the available voices. The voices can be created/modified, Search for Voices on the forum and you will find numerous references to the processes. Did you check on your unit to try to change the voice, and see which ones were there? (Click the wrench then select Locale the click on the Lips). Or use webupdater and You can download any available voice.
Thankjs
I don't see any lips on the NUVI 200 or the word Locale. I think the Tom Tom is the one that have the lips.
Does anyone has voices for the Nuvi 1350T? If so, how can I download them and put them in my GPS? Can anyone point me to the right direction as to how to create or edit voices to personalize it? I will appreciated any help. Thanks
No Lips
I was using my Nuvi 650 as the reference, I guess they are a lot different. When you hook your nuvi up to the computer does it show a Voices Folder? that is usually where the voices are on the unit. If it does and there are multiple voices in it, then there is a way to change them.
Yes I see that folder, does
Yes I see that folder, does it have a Male voice? If so how can you get it to work on the Nuvi 200?

The reason that they are showing up as dots is because it doesn't reconize the icons. Do a search for complete details, but in short,....
1) make sure the the icons and mp3 files are named exactly like the name of the poi file.
2) make sure that the icons and the voice alerts are in the same folder as the poi.

You call that a knife?

Its not a knife unless its serrated.

Fact/
I consider my K-Bar a knife and the cutting edge is not serrated. What about double edged daggers? Switchblades? Those are knives in my book.
It is serrated.
Its not a knife unless its serrated.
Fact/
You need a better display.
