I don't see one but noticed their website has the coordinates listed for most, if not all, of their parks.

This would be a good project for you to get started on ... not that many locations and the coordinates are given. These coordinates have to be converted to decimal; and I'd suggest double-checking them as I noticed one that had the negative sign on the wrong coordinate.

If you'd like to start, send me an email and I'll help you out.

TTNLT Campgrounds

I will check on the TTN site and see what they have, and go from there. We are going to his a few in Texas this spring, and the GPS sure takes the sweat out of finding.
Thanks

Need a POI

Well, I am kind of bored and nothing to do. If someone wants I can create the Custom POI for the place. Been looking for a new project anyway.

TT/N waypoints

Well, I was thinking of entering all the Calif preserves but if you're going to do it, that would be great. A little time consuming but doable. Thanks for any efforts, Jerry

Thousand Trails

I just found this site for Discovery MH owners but it has tons of RV coordinates, including 1000 Trails. I downloaded the one for "text" format, used my Magellan poi editor and loaded it into the gps. It works great, and there are lots of others that I'll prob get. Sure saves you a lot of work. Jerry

TT/N waypoints

Wayne, I picked the file that works for my Magellan-I think you had a Garmin? You would download the file that your unit uses. Then unzip it with any of the free unzip programs, like pkunzip or many others. Sounds like you may have done this already.

Once its downloaded you have to use the tools program from your unit and decode it into the format your gps uses. Sometimes this stuff is more complicated than its worth and you may find it easier to just use the TT guidebook and enter the destinations you use most in the Northwest. I did this before I found that website and entered most of the N Cal parks as addresses in my address folder. Only problem were a few that had no addresses and I couldn't find them. Good luck, Jerry

TT Campground...Wilderness Lakes

I downloaded the POI for TT and it's been pretty good until today...man did it take me over some hills and curves, and me driving a rig that is 40 ft and pulling a trailer of 20 ft. At any rate, when we were still some miles away it was telling me to "Turn right", I said, "No way!" Why? That would have taken me right off of a cliff down into a canyon. Man, this one is WAY off. Can you check it out? I like the whole idea and consept of what you have done.

Coordinates should be:
N33 40' 33.2"
West 117 08' 10.6"

Bill Hedrick

According to Google Earth,

According to Google Earth, that be the place.

Where were you coming from? Just a general location so I or someone else can try to route to it.

Thousand Trails - Naco - Leisure Time

I have just finished redoing, correcting and verifying this file. The original file I got from here was totally worthless. Every site was off by at least 20 miles... some by 100 miles. The original file also had Mid Atlantic and Outdoor World, but I removed them because I don't have access to them.

I will upload the new file today: TT-N-LTR.gpx

.gpx file

I am new to this and bought a new Garmin 465 T so that I would not go down the wrong route with my 40' RV pulling a car behind, and have to go through all of the unhooking and trying to turn around, or find a low bridge and have to do this. I wanted to put this file into my GPS but not sure of the file ext will it load into my Gramin? I downloaded the Garmin POI program and that is what I will be using. Can you let me know how this works?
Thanks for all of your work, and I am in hopes that this will save me time in putting all of the info in.
