Creating POI's

Can someone walk me through the actual process in creating a POI.. I tried to save some info in a excel spreadsheet with longitude and latitude and saving the file as .csv, but my nuvi does not recognize it..
What am I doing wrong.. Wanting to contribute to this group.

Did any errors show up when you attempted to transfer the file with Garmin's POI Loader software?
A common issue is that Excel will insert extra quotation marks if you manually put them in the spreadsheet cells. The extra quotations marks don't show in Excel, but you can see them with Notepad.
Also, it might help (if you're still stuck) to provide a couple lines of sample data.

Thanks for teh info.. I was able to upload the Baseball Parks last night and that went well, but now I would like to add more info instead of the basic longitute and latitude information.. I guess I will experiment in not using quotation marks..
