Hi, help please. I have a C330 GPS. I recently purchased a Kingston 2 GB, S D card. I downloaded the POI files i wanted. I then installed the POI files to the S D card using the POI loader with my memory card reader. Looking at the S D Card shows this, a folder called Garmin, in that folder is a folder called POI, in that folder is a file called poi.gpi. I take the S D Card insert it into the C330 and here is the problem, I cannot find the S D card or any of the POI files that are on it. Nothing happens when i put the S D card in, nor can i find any of the POI files that are on the S D card . There is nothing new in "My Locations, Custom POIs".
Am i doing something wrong or is the C330 not able to load POIs from the S D card?
Also, does the S D card give the C330 more memory for storing POIs
I know that i can install the POIs using the USB cable but i was wanting to do see if you could install from the S D card. .
I'm using V8 on the mapping program, software version is 5.7 and audio version is 2.60.
From my understanding (cause I never had a c330) from others, is that the c330 can't have POIs loaded on the SD drive. The SD drive is solely for the use of other maps.
The SD card on the C330 is only useful for additional mapping software.
Right now mine is being used for Canada & Alaska maps from version 2008NT mapping software since 2008NT won't all fit on the unit.
Also can be used for European maps etc.
Sorry but not usefull for POIs except to store them !

Like you, I purchased an SD card and did the above. After reading through many of the posts here, I found out that you have to purchase a preloaded SD card from Garmin. So now I have an SD card that I have no use for. Oh well.
