How are you going to use it? Car, bicycle, hiking, motorcycle, geocaching, RV, truck driver, boating
What features to you want/need? Voice navigation prompts (says "Turn right in 400 feet"), Text to Speech (TTS) navigation prompts (speaks names of streets - says "Turn right in 400 feet at Main Street"), MP3 player, stored routes on the unit, multiple waypoints in routes, ability to preplan route on computer and send them to the unit, battery in unit, ability to add Custom POIs, SD card slot for additional maps, ability to read Custom POIs and MP3s from SD card
