Load all POI files useing the Garmin POI Loader
When traveling and I have no destination just the map view up all the POI files show perfectly
When I put in a destination, while traveling NONE of the POI files seem to be loaded. For instance the rest areas, with no destination all rest areas warnings come up perfectly. Traveling the same route with a destination not one rest area shows.
Am I doing something wrong maybe a setting? Please help...

I don't have my rest areas
I don't have my rest areas with speed alerts, but I do have my schools like that and it works fine. How did you define your Rest Area POIs to alert?
