There are presently 2601 locations for the United States and Canada in the POI-Factory Speed Camera Database.

I visited France many times and drove in your country. I noted that many of your speed cameras are on highways. Here in North America, most of the cameras are installed in cities and towns and mainly at intersections with red lights.

that represents our red light camera database, our speed camera database only has 49 locations. This has been a new project that we have just recently started.
The US has not caught on to the speed camera idea as much as the rest of the world.

yes that's true ! the majority of our speed cameras are on highways. But now there is also on the red fires of the big cities : Paris, Bordeaux etc... and more newly small speed cameras being installed in guardrails !

The middle tab at the top of the page will get you to the 'Red light' database.

for Pete's sake, give our "upstanding" lawmakers any more fodder. More laws we don't need! Our politicians make up new laws each day at a withering speed! Can you imagine what a nightmare it would be if we had guardrail speed cameras, intersection speed cameras, corner speed cameras, lightpole speed cameras? Where does it all stop? I don't think that "cought up" is quite the way I would have put it. I would say, "oversocialized"

I just bought the Garmin City Navigator Europe NT France SD Version 9 for my Nuvi 360 the other day. We both will be in France next July, on a UniWorld river cruise for 16 days. We can't wait! We were all over France last year, and enjoyed it thoroughly. I am again in the process of re-learning my French, a bit more difficult this time, but progressing none-the-less.

If you go in france you need poi. csv fixed speed camera for your garmin ?
Now in France, there is more and more speed camera on the roads. You don't be speeding + 5 km more, or else you have a loss of points on your licence's drive.

If Miss Poi autorized me to give poi .csv of french speed camera i make it (however i bought of poi.csv in france and I think I can gived it by mail, but in free download i'm not sure)

We are focused on US and Canada POI Files here at POI Factory, there are lots of other sites out there that have the red light and speed camera files for other countries.

I would not want to step on the toes of someone in another country, so I stick with just the US and Canada out of respect for the hard work that they are doing.

You sound as if you are really into POI's? I just spoke to my sister who drove to Lincoln Nebraska, she thinks her new 650 is "spooky". The friends that drove with them fell in love with the Nuvi, and will purchase a copy when the get back home to Redding, California. I told them they HAD to get one, NOW they believe me!

French is fairly easy, since many of our words derive from that language..restaurant for example. I'm picking it up rather fast, and cannot wait until I get toi Paris to use it again!!

Well, must go for now. When you get the
POI's for the cameras in France, it might be a good idea to put them on POIFactory.
