Truckers Notes

As I drive around the country, I like to make notes of things and places that impact me as a truck driver. In this mainly unedited file, I have listed truck stops, speed zones, scales, Wal Marts, and other stuff. In this file, "ts" is for truck stop. "fuel" is for a place that sells fuel, but no sit down restaurant. "dq" for Dairy Queen (with truck parking), and "wm" for Wal Mart. If ?? is in the description, I'm not sure if you can park a truck there. I've also listed gravel lots, some speed limit changes, and a few other goodies like the BB Buffet in Darlington, SC. I don't guarantee the accuracy or usefulness of this file, but it's been handy for me. If you have your own trucker's notes, e-mail me. I'd love to compare notes.

Well, after driving local, and then doing a computer deployment, I'm back to OTR. Driving roads I haven't been down since I started this, I have added a lot of places. I think you'll find this file most handy if you first download and install the POI files on this web site for all the major truck stops and scales.
