MSN direct VS. fm traffic updates

Does anyone know if traffic is better between these 2 options? Do they use the same traffic channels? Does one cover better\broader than the other?

Gas Prices Delayed

I've been driving around with gas prices displayed. Great for situational awareness -- not only learning which areas are expensive and which less so, but also how the prices displayed on the Nuvi screen compare with the prices displayed at the stations themselves.

Only problem is that when you pull into a gas station the price is more likely different than what the GPS has. Updates are very slow, so be ware of this. But it is good to know you can get directions to a gas station during your travel times, by just hitting GO.

MSN DIRECT

Not for me! When mine expired it was all gone, i do still get weather pop ups though. I still have my original cable that was with the nuvi 760 package(traffic only). I'm not sure how everyone feels about that service. That was the cable that cost over 200 dollars if it was purchased separately( such as with the nuvi 750). I went with the MSN Direct cable afterwards($100) because of the extra features. The service was average at best. Any recommendations??

New Provider Yet to Be announced

Now that MSN mad it official that they will no longer be a player in this arena. I'm waiting to see the new players that enter before I make a decision on who to replace MSN.

Traffic for life is a great deal

Traffic for life is a great deal. I would skip MSN and just something like Gas Buddy. Most stations are typically expensive or cheap and you can learn which is which using Gas Buddy for free.
