new & interesting places for your GPS

Contributors of the week 2007-09-03

This week we are recognizing Auggie and GC00110 as our contributors of the week.

I chose both of these gentlemen because of their outstanding ability to make new people feel welcome and comfortable. You both joined our site in our very early stages and have really been part of our family this whole time that we have been around. We are always so pleased when you pop your heads back in to check up on us again after you have been away for a few weeks.

It is people like these two that make this place feel like home for me and for everyone else too.

GC00110, your work on the Smokies page is great and you were the person that showed us how much better our site can be by adding pictures to the POI file areas. Your pictures of Seattle are beautiful. Thanks for all that you do. We really appreciate you here at POI Factory.

Auggie, You have your hands in everything about this site, you are kind of like our general contractor that can do anything from make files to icons to reaching out to new people that have been lurking for months but have not taken the plunge. You were the one that took us from serious files to the fun exciting locations by uploading the Casinos file. We really enjoy everything that you put into this community.

Sometimes there are special people that come along in life and really touch you, these two individuals really do that for our community. We love you guys!!!
Miss Poi

Congratulations to you both

Thanks Miss POI, and everyone else too.

That's very kind of you. I've enjoyed being part of this community. I've developed a new hobby in the last year, of zooming around this state and nearby ones, gathering POI's to make in to a file and post on this site. It's been fun for me, and I'm glad that I turn others on to these places too.

Truth be told I lurk on the site almost daily, but I'm not as chatty and informative as others, like Motorcycle Mama. Nor as timely in my advice giving. So, I mostly just gather my POI's and jpegs, and share them for others to use and take pleasure in.

More are coming shortly.
