Garmin Nuvi 350 Alert to Turn

The Garmin Nuvi 350 will give the user a .2(ten's) of a mile voice alert before an upcoming scheduled turn. Sometimes this can come as a lane change on a busy traffic day. Is there any way to change the alert to say .4 (ten's) of a mile or better before the actual turn is upon the user. If there is someway in the config, I can not find it.

In general, the alert distance for a turn in based upon the speed you are traveling. It's not currently adjustable.

I check the "turn in ..."
When I'm traveling I usually glance at the lower right corner of my nuvi after I make a turn. Just so I'm not caught off guard by the next turn.

On my c330, you can press the lower right hand corner and hear an instruction as to the next turn or exit or whatever. I can do this by feel w/o having to take my eyes off the traffic. Don't know if your unit does the same. Not trying to tell you how to drive, just suggesting an alternative if it works on your device...
