The files are ok, but did you check the date of the files? Both the file date within the zip and the actual data within the csv? In my download both show 08/22 date.

Jeff

I am guessing

I would assume that there has been no new locations added so no need to update the data file date. but we all know what happens if we ASS U ME. LOL

Not according to Miss poi's change log: http://www.poi-factory.com/node/1352

Jeff,

Jeff,
I have sent you the updated files, I have also looked at the downloads and confirmed the correct files are loaded on the web server.

If you're still having troubles, we can do some more troubleshooting via email.

Miss Poi

I downloaded the file a couple days ago and it was the 8/22 file

Miss poi,

Could be my firefox browser issue. I closed it down completely and cleaned all its cache and retried it, it is now having the correct files. Before that no matter what I did it always had the 8/22 content. My computer was running all the time and that may be the problem.

Jeff

Date of POIs

I downloaded immediately prior to my original post and verified "Sep05 07" was in all 2555 lines.

Thats good to hear, it looks like Jeff's browser may have been holding onto an old copy of the file that he downloaded earlier. Restarting and clearing his cache seems to have been the solution.

Miss Poi

Thank you!

Miss Poi,

Thank you for all your hard work in putting this database together!

It's very much appreciated! smile

False Alarms

I don't know if I am posting my question under the right topic, but here it is: I have encountered many false alarms when I travel on Belt Parkway or LI (New York) for red light cameras on the nearby streets. I chose 90 degree angle / 100 meters for warning on my Maestro 4050. Any suggestions?

Thank you.
