Finding your vehicle in a parking lot

I just downloaded the 2008 update (took 48 min.).
During the download they ran some ads, one was for gpsacademy.com. I checked it out and played the detention game (which I suck at). One of the things that Miss GPS (not to be confused with Mis POI) mentioned in the introduction, was the ability to find your car in a parking lot. Then she never went on to explain how.

How does that work and can I do it with my C340?

u could save ur current location as a favorite and then go back to it using gps.

parking lots

Guess you would save the location of your car when you get out. Of course, you would then have to carry the GPS with you walking through the parking lot! Maybe ok for the handhelds.

Don't PANIC

If the above doesn't work for you then just press the P-A-N-I-C button on your key fob! Now you're sure to find your vehicle - as will a host of others! wink

Lost Car

After losing my car for over 2 hours in the Seworld Orlando Parking Lot in 98 degree day that would be very helpful.

Lost car.

Love it with the nuvi 360 there is a pedestrian mode that times things slower. Never thought of using the gps to find something. Lost cars in parking lost, wives in shopping malls ("meet you back here"), Disney world, the possibilities are endless. Thanks for the thoughts and ideas!!
