Possible Routing error with C340 version 4.4

Today leaving work, I selected where to? Home, then about 1 minute later I decided to go by Walmart. I selected walmart from shopping... department stores..etc... The GPS asked the question about inserting this location in route to my final location. When I selected yes, it locked up. The "GO" button screen kept focus and the unit froze. I waited about a minute, then turned it off and back on, canceled the route. Tried it again but this time I selected walmart from the Recent Selections it worked fine.
I will try it again on Tuesday.

I tried some simulations last night and saw no issues as all..

Update.. No more routing issues. But this happened..
When I turned on the unit today it gave me a very wordy warning that my Map is out of date, contact Garmin to purchase a new one, and give a URL link.
My MAP info says:
City Navigator North America NT 2008, and it was checked in the Map Info screen. From what I read this is the current map.
It only happened once, and I cannot reproduce it again. Anyone seen this.

Nope. Since I loaded v4.4 last Friday, my c340 is working great. No quirks or things going bump in the night. And satellite acquisition really does seem to be faster.
Garmin 765T...Is it about the destination, or is it about the journey?
