i have a backup from gps nuvi with map 2008 on a 350.
can i transfer the setting of the 2008 on mine who has
vs 8..thank you

Each unit is tied to its mapset by serial number and the 25 digit code - if there's a miss-match, you'll have nothing but a really pricey paperweight.
