csv files on Zumo 550

i can't get csv poi to show up on my zumo after downloading on my sd card. Any suggestions?

Updates

Make sure you have updated the firmware and are using the updated POI loader. Depending on the size of the card, it can take some time before the Zumo will see the new data and ask to load it onto the unit. You can also look at http://www.zumoforums.com/zumo/ for more info on the Zumo.

.

Be sure you are using POI Loader to load them and not simply copying them to the SD card. Click on the getting started and faqs links above for more information.

Hi Mama, From all I've read

Hi Mama,
From all I've read the Zume 550 is top shelf however it's pretty expensive. I have wondered what you ride. I ride an 02 Honda Shadow ACE 750 myself. Out of curiousity how much did you pay for your Zumo?

Hey, Ray.

The Zumo flat out rocks in my opinion. It's expensive, perhaps, but well worth it and really when you look at all you get and all it does, it's really not that bad.

I paid $690 in February. You get get it for about $50 less than that now I think. I use it nearly every day in my car (since it comes with the car and motorcycle mounts) and nearly every weekend on my bike.

I love the fact that I can use the Bluetooth as a handsfree device to talk on the phone in the car. It's useful (to me anyway) also to be able to see the calls coming in on the screen. This helps when I have the music up a tad too loud to hear the phone itself. wink I also like the fact that I can see calls coming in on my bike and answer them if I want. And I like the fact that I can listen to music on my rides.

But the biggest thing for me has been the ability to plan routes. I ride mostly by myself (I like it that way.) and being able to plan routes on the back country roads has allowed me the freedom to take longer and longer rides without any concern of ending up on some dead end road in the middle of nowhere.

I also like being able to download my ride tracks to see where I've ridden. And then sometimes I share these tracks with family and friends to show then where I went.

I ride an 05 Honda Shadow Aero 750 so we are practically on the same bike.

MM, I can really see the

MM,
I can really see the value in your gps in how you're using it. I too would be using it in the same manner except my phone is not a bluetooth and I wouldn't want to take calls while riding anyways. From what I've read you could buy a bluetooth earpiece and connect to the gps wirelessly so you can hear the music and turn instructions, is this correct??
As for the bikes yes your bike replaced the one I ride so I know alot about it. I added V&H pipes to my bike and rejetted so it's much louder than stock but not extremely obnoxious wink Your bike is MUCH easier to rejet because you have only one carb to deal with plus it's easily accessed unlike mine plus you have shaft drive instead of chain.
I would like to see a pic of your gps on your bike if that's possible. Could you e-mail me a pic of your Zumo on your Aero?

Thanx,
Ray
