trouble w/ Garmin POI loader

I've downloaded POI loader to my desktop. When I try to run POI Loader it says it can't find my device. I have it plugged up. I have rebooted my pc. My device is turned on. I just downloaded the current software for my device today. I have a eTrex-Vista. Any suggestions?? Thanx.

Which Vista? B&W, C, Cx?

Only the Cx is compatible with POI Loader.

If you have the Cx, then I would say to be sure that your firmware is update to the latest.
